Dozens of Blue Mountains Rural Fire Brigade & SES Volunteers will be supporting the Blue Mountains Winter Magic Festival again this year.
Led by our own local firefighters from South Katoomba Volunteer Fire Brigade, more than 50 RFS & SES volunteers will be taking good care of the 50,000 visitors that are expected to drop by on June 23rd.
South Katoomba RFB has been an integral partner in Winter Magic since its beginning, providing the Festival with affordable, effective and reliable crowd management.
We’ve been there to reconnect lost parents with their kids, block the odd meandering motorist trying to get through the barrier, facilitate the way for ambulances, and assist police with traffic management.
We are also keen to recruit new members and look forward to the many questions from potential new volunteers.
